Lynne's current painting project is a series of Pink Chair Paintings. Shows of the wprk have been exhibited at the Topsfield Library in November 2011 and  at the Scala Art Center this past January.  A four month display at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center in Boston is currently up and a trip to Cushing Maine,where the project was born, is scheduled for an "Art in the Barn" August 10 - 12 ! Exhibits are tentatively scheduled in New York City and in SUNY Geneseo near Rochester.

Lynne is writing a blog about the ongoing process and is posting pictures of locations that inspire her and paintings as they are done.

LYNNE SCHULTE LAVALLEY, Artist and Teacher
Lynne Schulte LaValley has over thirty years in working as an art teacher in a wide range of media. She is known particularly for her ability to connect with and assist teens in their college portfolio preparation, and in her ability to explain the basics to a beginner. Her message is "Of course you can do it - let me help you get started." She is encouraging yet has an expectation of excellence that students are able to reach, tailoring the instruction to the individual need.
